Paradeep Phosphates Limited won the “FAI Best Video Film” award for the entry “Parivartan (The Change)” for the year 2012 from Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) in their Annual Seminar 2012 held on December 10, 2012 at Agra.

The Video film “Parivartan” depicting the enhancement of soil fertility by use of fertilizers was appreciated by all.

Mr. S S Nandurdikar, Managing Director, PPL along with Mr. D S Ravindra Raju, Chief Operating Officer, PPL received the award from Mr. Srikant Jena, Hon’ble Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India. Mr. Jena advised FAI to dub the film in all regional languages.

Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) won the Best Theme Stall Award at CII - Enterprise Odisha, 2012 held at IDCO Exhibition ground, Bhubaneswar. Our presentation truly reflected the theme “Reviving Economic Growth, Imperatives Of Reforms & Governance.”. The award was presented by Mr. Surjya Narayan Patro, Minister for Revenue & Disaster Mitigation, Govt. of Odisha in presence of Mr. Niranjan Pujari, Minister of Industries and Excise, Govt. of Odisha in the valedictory session of the event on 27th November ’12. This is the third time in last 4 years that PPL has received this award.

IDG India’s CIO magazine has awarded the CIO100 Award to Paradeep Phosphates Limited at the 7^h annual CIO100 awards on Friday, September 7th, 2012 at Hyderabad. The annual award program recognizes organizations that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT). Paradeep Phosphates Limited’s has won Frost & Sullivan’s Green Manufacturing Excellence Awards (GMEA) 2012. It won the award under “Aspirants Award - Large Business” Category.

Frost & Sullivan's Green Manufacturing Excellence Awards were instituted in 2009 to assist the adoption of sustainable environment friendly manufacturing practices in Indian companies and also to recognize the front runners on this platform. These awards serve to highlight the commitment of organizations in their journey towards sustainability, through participation as a responsible corporate in caring for the environment.

The 2012 edition of Green Manufacturing Excellence Summit and Awards took place on 27th April 2012 at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. Mr. Kiran M. Joshi, VP (O&CP) received the award from Mr. Raghavendra Rao, Vice President, Frost & Sullivan, South Asia & Middle East.

The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) awarded Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) as the “Best Performing Company” of Odisha for the year 2011-12 in the Mega Industry Category.

This award was presented on February 23, 2012 by Mr. Prafulla Chandra Ghadai, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of Odisha on the closing ceremony of “Electricity Odisha 2012”. The award is given by UCCI to the industries on the basis of their performance, product quality, turnover etc. The Award committee appreciated PPL’s effort on its compound achievement of last year.

The award was received by Mr. Sankarsan Acharya, Advisor (Corporate Affairs) and Dr. Suvendu Das, General Manager (HR), of PPL. Mr. Vivek Pattanayak, Chairman Award Committee and Mr. Ramesh Mahapatra, President, UCCI were present on the occasion.

PPL has won the prestigious SAP ACE 2010 award for the "Best Run Business using SAP in the Chemicals category". The award is given by SAP INDIA. Mr. V. Seetaramaiah, GM (IT) received the award from Mr. Peter Gartenberg Managing Director, SAP India Sub-continent at a glittering function at Mumbai on 21st October '2010.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) presented the “Nagara Bandhu” Award to Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. on Local Self Government Day – 31st August ’10. This award recognizes PPL’s endeavour in beautifying the city; particularly the areas adjacent to Rabindra Mandap and its Corporate Office. Mr. S. Acharya, Advisor – Corporate Affairs, received the memento and citation from Mr. Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister. Mr. Prasanna Patsani, MP, Mr. Ananta Narayan Jena, Mayor, BMC and distinguished guests were present on the occasion.

PPL has received the Best CIO Award for the state of Odisha in the small and medium enterprises category. The award was announced by Mr. P. K. Mohapatra, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, IT, Govt. of Odisha and Chairman, OCAC. Mr. V. Seetaramaiah, GM (IT), PPL received the award from Mr. Sanjeev Nayak, ex President and current member of the IT Association of Odisha (ITAO) at the awards function jointly held by ITAO and OCAC at the KIIT Convention Centre, Bhubaneshwar on 6^th March 2010.

PPL won the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) ‘Award for the Best Overall Performance of an Operating Fertilizer Unit for Phosphoric Acid for 2008-09’. The prestigious award was presented by Mr. K. Raghuveera Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and was received by Mr. J. P. Bargale, VP (Mktg.), PPL, in the presence of Mr. M. K. Azhagiri, Union Minister, Govt. of India, Mr. S. Krishnan, Secretary (Fertilisers), Dept. of Fertilisers, Govt. of India, and others during the glittering ceremony of FAI’s Annual Seminar in Convention Center, Hyderabad Marriott Hotel, Hyderabad on December 3, 2009.

On the occasion of its Annual day on 9th September 2009, the Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) felicitated Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. as the 'Most Successful Entrepreneur of the Year 2009' in the Mega Industry category in Orissa. Mr. R. Raghunathan, Vice President (F&A) received the memento and citation from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Orissa, Mr. Naveen Pattnaik. Mr. Baijayant Panda, MP, and Mr. N. Mohanty, President, UCCI were present on the occasion.

PPL won the year 2007-08 Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) Award for the Second Best Video Film for its entry "New Horizon". This award was received by Mr. J. P. Bargale, VP (Mktg.) from Mr. Atul Chaturvedi, Secretary, Department of Fertilizers & Chemicals, Govt. of India in the presence of a distinguished gathering during the glittering ceremony of FAI's Annual Seminar at Hotel Ashoka, New Delhi on 05th December, 2008.

Indian Chemical Council (ICC) conferred the Certificate of Merit for Best Practice in Social Responsibility to PPL. Mr. J. P. Bargale, VP (Mktg.) received the award at a grand ceremony in Mumbai on 26th July, 2008 from the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. S. C. Jamir.
